Welcome to South Wales Hog Roast, the local company with a growing reputation for cooking delicious hog roasts, tailored to suit your individual needs.
Based in South Wales we cater for all types of functions, corporate events, birthdays, christenings, weddings or just that special occasion. All our hog roasts are cooked for about 10 hours ensuring that your guests enjoy the theatre and spectacle of the event, producing delicious succulent pork every time.
Whether it’s a party of 50 or a corporate day of 200 we will take all the stress away from you and ensure it is a day for you and your guests to remember.

F.A.Q's
What is the estimated cooking time for a Hog Roast?
A whole hog roast takes approximately 9 – 10 hours to cook depending on the numbers we are catering for. A whole lamb cooks to perfection in approximately 4-5 hours.
Do you have any provisions for wet weather?
This is of course the UK! So yes, we will bring our own 3 x 3 meter gazebo to cover ourselves against any unwanted weather.
Do you need access to power (electrical)?
Yes. If the even is being held at night and there is no lighting we will need an electrical outlet for our lights.
When would you need final numbers and menu choice by?
Supply us with final details no less than 10 days prior to the function please.
How much space does your setup need?
We require 3 x 3 meters, the size of our gazebo.
Can you do a Hog Roast indoors?
We do prefer an outdoor space for cooking, but have on quite a few occasions served the hog roast indoors.
What about leftovers?
Any unserved meat can be carved off and left for you if you so wish.
How does payment work?
We require 50% deposit to secure and confirm the booking. We will then contact you at least 10 days prior to your function to discuss final numbers and precise timings and at this point the final payment becomes due.
How many staff do you provide per function?
This very much depends on numbers, menu etc. Needless to say we ensure we have the correct staff numbers to enable your event to run smoothly and professionally.
